Lil Wayne has a brand spankin’ new blog, but it has little to do with music. Instead the sports mad rapper will be blogging about, well, sports.

In his first entry he says “I don’t watch nothing but sports—no movies, no news, no television shows—so I thought this would be fun.” And well, fair enough!

The first entry is more of an introduction to Wayne’s sporting credentials. He lists his favourite teams saying “Besides the Packers, my favorite teams are the Red Sox, the Lakers and the Boston Bruins. I also love tennis. I had a lot of people over to my place to watch the Wimbledon final this year, and we went crazy. I love Federer but Nadal is my favorite. He’s the man.”

Brad Pitt has been voted Hollywood’s Hottest Dad, according to AOL.

The 44-year-old, father of six beat off the likes of David Beckham, Johnny Depp and Barack Obama, for the accolade.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are reportedly living in Germany with their 6 children: Maddox Chivan, Zahara Marley, Pax Thien, Shiloh Nouvel and their new set of twins Knox Leon and the Vivienne Marcheline, while he films Inglorious B*****ds.

Mariah Carey will become a global ambassador for a hunger relief charity as part of the the United Nations World Food Programme, called the Yum! Foundation.

The singer will be named today (Thursday September 25) and will appear on posters in more than 112 countries advertising the campaign.

Yum! owns Pizza Hut, KFC and Taco Bell, so it’s likely the posters will feature in these fast food chains.

Kanye West has brought forward the release of his anticipated new album ‘808’s & Heartbreak’ by a month.

He said: “I CHANGED MY ALBUM TO NOVEMBER SOMETHING CAUSE I FINISHED THE ALBUM AND I FELT LIKE IT… I WANT YALL TO HEAR IT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.”

50 Cent has just announced that he will be releasing a movie with the same name as his new album “Before I Self Destruct.” But in a recent interview with Rolling Stone, the rapper says that he will be cutting Interscope out of the movie’s profits.

The Get Rich Or Die Tryin’ star told Rolling Stone “It’s not Purple Rain [a film by Prince], but it was inspired by the actual music.”

“When [films] portray certain lifestyles they don’t show cause and effect, but I showed characters under pressure in scenarios where they felt like there were no other options, even though there were.”

Busta Rhymes, Jim Jones, and Juelz Santana are among the many names that have been added to appear at the 2008 “VH1 Hip-Hop Honors” showcase.

The fifth annual telecast of “VH1 Hip-Hop Honors” will premiere Monday, October 6 on VH1 and VH1 Soul. The full stream of the show will then be available on hiphop.vh1.com the following day. Taping for “VH1 Hip-Hop Honors” takes place Thursday, October 2 in New York at the Hammerstein Ballroom.

DMX was rushed to the hospital yesterday for “fear of a stoke,” according to TMZ.

DMX, real name Earl Simmons was rushed into hospital on Monday in Florida - with early reports suggesting that he had suffered from a stroke.

The embattled rapper was taken to an emergency center in Aventura, Florida. X is slated to appear in an Arizona court today, however, it appears he won’t be able to make his scheduled hearing.

The rapper recently plead guilty in Miami to drug possession and sentenced to time served and fined

Earlier this month, DMX was extradited from Florida by authorities and jailed in Arizona on an outstanding warrant.
